Accessibility statement.
Our target, what we've done, the gaps we know about, and how to tell us when something doesn't work.

Micro-IT wants micro-it.net to work for everyone, including visitors using a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or magnification. We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This statement describes where we stand, honestly — including what still needs work.
What we’ve done.
- A skip-to-content link on every page, and a visible focus style on interactive controls.
- Semantic headings and landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer) throughout the site.
- Decorative icons and illustrations marked
aria-hiddenso screen readers skip them. - Color choices checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios, including the ink-on-yellow highlighter used for emphasis.
- Form fields with associated labels, and the newsletter signup's success message announced to assistive technology via a status region.
- A site that remains usable with analytics, chat, and third-party scripts blocked.
Known gaps.
We are actively working through these:
- Some focus outlines on older form fields still need the higher-contrast treatment we're rolling out sitewide.
- The mobile navigation drawer does not yet fully trap keyboard focus or mark the rest of the page
inertwhile open. - The chat assistant panel needs a complete audit for
aria-modalbehavior and Tab containment on small screens. - Third-party embeds — the Calendly scheduler and the Cloudflare Turnstile challenge — come from vendors whose interfaces we do not control; every booking and form also has a phone and email path.
- We have not yet completed testing against
forced-colorsmode or verified every page at 400% zoom. - Some third-party embeds (the Calendly scheduler, the Cloudflare Turnstile challenge) inherit their accessibility behavior from those vendors, not from us.
How to report a barrier.
If you run into something on this site that doesn't work with the technology you use, tell us — we want to fix it. Email support@micro-it.net or call 270.816.5726 and describe the page and the problem. We aim to respond within one business day.
Scope.
This statement covers micro-it.net. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, or the separate services of vendors we embed (Calendly, Google Analytics, Cloudflare).
